Good news! I managed to sleep through the silence. My dreams reported nothing. Not a single word or image but you, darling Oblivion. Good news! I managed to make it through breakfast. The food, a dead weight in my stomach. I managed not to vomit. The blues are finally starting to reel me in. Good news! Lunch was uneventful. Grocery store fried chicken. I forgot to pack a lunch again, I wish I'd never quit smoking cigarettes. Good news! I managed to make it to supper. Once again, garlic bread and pasta. Now it's time to go get plastered. I drink, therefore I'm Alexander. Good news! I finally stopped lying to myself. The truth is I am bored and selfish. And everything I just said is bullshit. Life is fucking marvelous.
